The revolutionary all-electric BMW C Evolution scooter has had its look completely transformed by Heidelberg-based customizer Rolf Reick from Krautmotors, enhancing its stylish looks with a futuristic twist. Creating a scooter that would look more at home on a drag circuit than on urban roads, the modified monster has created a storm with space-age design that complements the scooter’s cutting edge engineering perfectly.
The transformation is the work of respected industrial designer Reick who first emerged on the scene when he built his version of the BMW Bobber, which went on to earn the title of Germany’s custom bike of the year. The bulbous, almost robotic looking front creates a bullet-like shape to BMW’s pioneering all-electric C Evolution, making it easy to imagine the scooter as commonplace on the highways of the future.
Even without customization, the BMW C Evolution is an incredible feat of engineering that has set a new precedent in the scooter class. The scooter is entirely powered by a 35kW motor that delivers powerful performance and makes it easy to navigate urban traffic. With a range of up to 100 miles, this is the perfect scooter for jaunting into town to run errands or taking off on a road trip just for the sheer pleasure of it.
There are plenty of model variants of the BMW C Evolution including ABS, Torque Control Assist, LED daylight running light and indicators, main center stand, on-board computer and a tinted windshield. Some models even have a reverse assist, a revolutionary introduction to the scooter class. Despite the C Evolution’s strikingly futuristic design, it is still as recognizable of the BMW brand as other scooters on offer and every bit as prestigious.
