The 2023 BMW R 1250 R is equipped with a 1,254 cc four-stroke, two-cylinder, air/liquid-cooled BMW Boxer engine. This potent engine combines two overhead spur-gear-driven camshafts, electronic intake pipe injection, BMS-O with throttle-by-wire, and BMW ShiftCam variable intake camshaft control.
