The smooth-riding R 1250 RT has a 1,254 cc, two-cylinder, four-stroke boxer engine that includes BMS-O with throttle-by-wire and electronic port fuel injection. This powerful engine is combined with a six-speed synchromesh transmission and wet clutch with hydraulic activation and will produce 136 horsepower and 105 lb.-ft of torque.
