Being a high-performance motorcycle that can handle tracks and paved roads with equal agility, the BMW S 1000 R is ready for any adventure you throw at it. This motorcycle is powerful and light. Its power comes from a 999 cc, oil and water-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine. This engine is mated with a multi-disc, oil bath clutch with self-reinforcement. This lets the motorcycle produce 165 horsepower at 11,000 RPM and 84 lb.-ft of torque at 9,250 RPM. The S 1000 R can launch from a standstill quickly.
