The G 310 GS is powered by a 313 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, water-cooled engine with wet sump lubrication, electronic fuel injection, and two overhead camshafts. Combined with a six-speed constant mesh transmission that includes anti-hopping and a multi-disc clutch, this powertrain will produce 34 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 20 lb.-ft of torque at 7,500 rpm.
