If you’re in the market for a high-end, high-performance motorcycle, take a look at the BMW M 1000 RR
and the BMW S 1000 RR. These motorcycles sport a 999 cc, four-cylinder, four-stroke in-line engine that generates 205 horsepower at 13,000 rpm and 83 lb.-ft of torque at 11,000 rpm. They both have a closed-
loop three-way catalytic converter. So, what are the differences between these two motorcycles?
The BMW S 1000 RR is a high performance sport motorcycle, with plenty of standard equipment.
The S 1000 RR offers a wide array of optional accessories. Some examples are a tinted windscreen, M footrest system, M Cover kit, tank bag, passenger seat bag, M data logger, lap trigger, and radiator grille
guards.
The BMW M 1000 RR is a performance motorcycle. Here’s some of the standard equipment.
Optional equipment for the M 1000 RR includes the M Competition package with the M Billet pack. The M Carbon package includes visible carbon front and rear wheel covers and more. The Passenger Package
