Chief among these innovations is the debut of BMW ShiftCam technology that adjusts valve timing and valve stoke depending on throttle to make sure engine power output stays ideal whether you’re slogging through a tough trail or you’re going full-tilt down a paved road. Intake camshafts have been redesigned to open the intake valves asynchronously to aid in combustion.
When the going gets tough, adapt. The R1250GS includes additional riding modes “Dynamic Pro,” “Enduro” and “Enduro Pro.” ABS Pro improves your braking safety and Dynamic Traction Control prevents unintentional accelerator activation while braking.
