In just a few months, skilled American BMW motorcycle riders will take their off-road skills to the 2020 GS Trophy Qualifier with RawHyde Adventures on May 30. RawHyde Adventures has hosted the qualifier for BMW’s GS Trophy Challenge many times over the years.
Riders will bring their BMW off-road bikes to California, where they will work hard to earn their spot in the official BMW motorcycle competition in New Zealand.
BMW Adventure motorcycle riders will gather for the Qualifier to determine which riders are ready to take on the GS trophy in New Zealand. Hundreds of American riders will have their off-roading skills tested during this multi-day event.
Riders who make it to the International GS Trophy will endure a variety of tests and challenges in New Zealand.
“New Zealand, rainforest meets glaciers, steppe-like flora meets subtropical flora. The island is characterized by high plateaus and mountain peaks with heights of well over 3000 meters as well as fjord landscapes, countless uplands and woodlands – the best conditions for exciting trails and grueling challenges,” said BMW Motorrad.
Riders will navigate through mud, water, single trails, nature trails and more in order to win the 2020 GS Trophy. Eighteen teams are expected to compete.
Not only is this challenge an opportunity for riders to show off their skills as some of the top riders, it also highly focuses on team spirit and team building.
