That’s why for 2020, the storied BMW S1000RR achieves a new level of motorcycling perfection. With a mind-blowing 205 horsepower, the 2020 BMW S1000RR is faster, lighter and easier to ride than ever before. For 46 months, BMW engineers have worked on this bike to squeeze out every excess ounce of weight and put to use every horsepower produced by the bike’s 1,000cc engine.

The technical improvements present in the 2020 BMW S1000RR are bountiful. New BMW ShiftCam Technology enhances power at lower and medium speeds and takes the bike to higher peaks at the top end of performance. Coupled with increased engine performance and suspension improvements, nearly 9 lbs. in weight savings over previous models means the S1000RR is more nimble, responsive and easy to handle than ever before. Some of that weight reduction came from a new fully-optimized suspension and frame system that puts more load-bearing responsibility on the engine. The redesigned frame improves ergonomics and changes the riding dynamics to ramp up performance on the track.
