In further pursuance of innovation, comfort, and a better riding experience, BMW Motorrad introduced the BMW Motorrad connectivity through the TFT-display, and the BMW Motorrad Connected app. The app combines navigation and multimedia features to make riding more fun and engaging.
The replacement of the traditional electronic instrument cluster with the large TFT display provides enough space for the rider to access these features and even make calls on the go.
You can connect your smartphone using the Connectivity optional accessory in conjunction with the BMW Motorrad Connected App. Using the connection of your smartphone, you will get a clear turn-by-turn direction to your destination via the TFT display.
The BMW Motorrad helmet has the BMW Motorrad communications system and your smartphone connected through the app. The TFT display has access to the smartphone’s contact list, where you can make or receive calls on the go. Incoming calls are displayed on the TFT display, and you can either pick or reject the call with a simple hand gesture.
Using the Connectivity optional accessory, you have access to the songs saved on your smartphone, the BMW helmet, which has the BMW communication system, is right on hand to give you the best sound. You can skip a track or adjust the volume through simple gestures.
The connected app has the route planning feature that helps you plan your dream routes with waypoints.
Using the connected app, you can choose to record your trip for future use, your best route, the best time, and many more and have them available to be shared on social media.
